Every decision, with its reason.

Possible matches don’t sit in an inbox. Each becomes a case with a risk level, an owner and notes, and it can only be closed with a recorded reason. The whole history goes into an audit trail nobody can edit.
    01
A case for every possible match
With a risk level, an owner and notes. From a new screening, a batch upload or ongoing monitoring.
    02
    Side-by-side comparison
Your customer and the list entry, field by field, so the analyst can see what agrees and what doesn’t.
    03
    Closed with a reason
As a confirmed match or a false positive. The reason is recorded with who decided and when.
    04
    Append-only audit trail
Every screening, decision, change and deletion, with who did it and when. Nobody can edit or delete entries, admins included.
    05
    Evidence pack in one click
A PDF of everything held on a customer, with a fingerprint that proves the file hasn’t been altered. Plus screening certificates, MLRO reports and CSV, JSON and PDF exports.
    06
    Five-year retention
Record when a relationship ends: the file is kept for five years (reg 40), then you’re prompted to delete it. A hold keeps records longer where the law or court proceedings require it.

    In practice

Decisions go in. Nobody takes them out.

Each case closes with a reason, and the audit trail keeps writing. Nobody can edit an entry, admins included. Names are invented.

    FAQ

    Questions firms ask

    Still have a question?
    hello@firmscreen.io

    1. The audit trail is append-only: entries can’t be edited or deleted by anyone. If a decision is revisited, the new decision is added to the history alongside the original.

    2. Everything held on the customer: their details, every screening with list versions, cases and decisions, risk ratings and due diligence records. It carries a fingerprint so you can prove the file hasn’t been altered since it was produced.

    3. Five years after the business relationship ends, as regulation 40 requires. FirmScreen then prompts you to delete them. A hold keeps records longer where the law or court proceedings require it.
