The problem
FirmScreen replaces that with one search across the official lists, automatic daily re-screening, a case for every possible match, and an audit trail nobody can edit. The person buying it is usually the MLRO or compliance lead. The people using it are the staff who onboard customers.
How we build it
A screening result is only worth what you can prove about it later. Everything FirmScreen does ends in something you can show a supervisor: a list version, a reason, a fingerprint.
Matching doesn’t use AI. The same name gives the same result every time, and you can see why it matched. We publish how well it works and where it falls short.
Each feature exists because a regulation asks for something. We say which one, so you can map FirmScreen to your own procedures.
No identity verification, no decisions made for you, no complete PEP list. Knowing the limits lets your procedures cover them.
Who builds it
Small and mid-sized UK firms supervised for anti-money laundering, typically by HMRC or a professional body: accountants and bookkeepers, solicitors and conveyancers, estate and letting agents, trust and company service providers, and other regulated businesses.
In the UK. Customer data is hosted in the EEA (Ireland).
Not yet. We don’t hold ISO 27001, SOC 2 or Cyber Essentials certification. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, each firm’s records are separated by the database itself, two-factor sign-in is enforced by the server, and the app uses no advertising, analytics or third-party trackers.
